The Psychopaths are the epitome of psycho. Wes Craven’s Scream (1996) began the “Meta genre”. With having 2 serial killers who are a mystery until the last 30 minutes of the movie combined with the “Who did it?” atmosphere, the psychopaths rise. Billy Loomis & Stu Macher were the original psychopaths as only one had a motive to kill/hurt while the other went along for the ride. Throughout the movie, the notion that horror movies are responsible for serial killers, especially in teens, drives this cinematic masterpiece.
